My Paintings

Two pastel paintings of a nearby vineyard when leaves had turned bright oranges, reds, and yellows.

The scene at China Beach was originally a pastel painting.
I photographed the painting, loaded the photo onto my computer, and printed the image onto fabric. When finished this will be a wall quilt that measures about 10" x 12"

Fabric Postcard from Grandmother's Happy New Year card

This is a fabric postcard. I took the original postcard, copied it onto my computer, and printed it out on fabric.

All of the above pieces are from 4" x 5" to 5" x 7." The background is painted Lutradur on which I added free motion embroidery, beads, buttons, decorative paper, and collage images from magazines. I made these in Susan Sorrell's online class
Monoprints at Joggles.com. We had six lessons, but I didn't get past the first two I was so excited about making these mixed media collages.
This cute little doggie is an unfinished mini-art quilt.
This mini-quilt I call Persephone. The face was printed with my inkjet printer onto cloth.

My first fabric collage here was made in Susan Sorrell's Fabric Collage class on Joggles.com. I used batik, embroidery, and beads. It measures about 7" x 7" and is constructed like a quilt.
